Niyi was one of the first friends I made when I returned to London after two years in South Korea. Through him I met a community of people in London, all connected by a mutual love of fashion and culture.

This particular piece was produced in watercolours, gold leaf and ink — a mixture of commonplace and luxurious materials. This piece contrasts regality with humility, softness with strength — a reflection of Niyi's own character.
